Class Descriptions
Participating in group exercise classes is a great way to improve stamina, burn off calories, reduce stress and have fun. Choose from a wide variety of classes and find one that suits your style.
BootCamp: Choose how hard you want to workout with this one of a kind workout. This class is designed for all levels with a combination of drills, cardio, resistance and agility training. You choose your level of intensity.
Burn & Firm: Non-choreographed, heart-pumping cardio combined with various forms of resistance training.
Butts & Guts: If you're looking for firm, tight glutes and abs, this is for you. This low impact class with basic moves targets your core and lower body.
Cardio Blast: A high energy workout designed to make you sweat.
Cardio Dance: Move your body to the music and dance the hour away during this lively cardio dance party. This class delivers fresh and innovative choreography drawing from a variety of dance styles. Tap into your reservoir of rhythm and celebrate the beauty of your body in motion.
Cardio Sculpt: Tone through cardio, muscle conditioning and stretching in this high energy class.
Hi-Lo: Bursts of hi and lo impact aerobics make this a challenging, sweat-drenching class.
Kickbox: You will kick and punch your way to total fitness in this cardio class.
Lo Impact: A fun, choreographed aerobics class to great music with minimal impact.
Muscle Pump: A full body muscle conditioning class. Weights, tubing, stability balls, barbells and bands may be used to challenge you from head to toe.
Pilates Mat: A technique that focuses on core stability and coordinated breathing. Included are a series of exercises created to develop a longer, leaner, stronger body.
Pilates Sculpt: A combination of Pilates and traditional muscle conditioning. This class is designed to increase core strength and stability as well as create a sculpted look through resistance training.
Pilates/Yoga Combo: A class combining both Pilates and Yoga. You will stretch and strengthen your muscles while improving balance and posture.
Spinning: A challenging experience that burns lots of calories. You will surely sweat, so make sure you bring water and a towel. Pick up a bike ticket at the front desk.
Step: A fun class choreographed to great, high energy music with minimal impact.
Stretch & Strengthen: A muscle conditioning class emphasizing breathing and stretching. You will use weights, tubing and your own body resistance. Great for mature adults.
Yoga: Integrate body, mind and self-awareness through the practice of yoga postures
(Asanas). You will strengthen your body, increase flexibility and improve your overall
well-being.
Hatha Yoga is the foundation of all Yoga and is for all levels.
Iyengar Yoga is a bit more physical. You will be guided through a strong practice that builds endurance and teaches self-awareness through movement.
Zumba: This class is a fiery, Latin-inspired dance workout to fun, exciting music.
